Heavenly father, we long to be a welcoming
community, showing generous hospitality to all.
May the love of Christ free us
from our fears and prejudices,
so that this may this be a place where all
are heard, valued, loved and treasured,
as those made in your image. Amen.
Lovely words, I was privelliged to make an (albeit short!) visit to your church.
Regards,
Clive Unitt

Does anyone have information re: Stanley Bishop who was a Milk Roundsman on Westleaze Farm 1933/1941 ish. I believe the owners were R&B Clarke. I do have a two photographs - one with I think a Doris Clarke ( AKA Bubbles )? who is sitting on a Motor Bike with the above named Stanley ( my Father ) outside what I think to be an Ice Cream Parlour ! Many thanks, Diane Everett

Wanting to contact my old friend Michael, and not having his e mail address to hand, I googled Wroughton Parish Church and found your site. What an inspiring one it is! Clearly a vibrant, active and caring community. (Well, knowing MJ, would expect no less...!)

I stumbled across this web page during my lunch hour. It's a great site and it was patricularly comforting for me to read about my old church and to see some of my old friends. Best wishes to you all!

As someone looking to perhaps live in the area, I found the site helpful, and feel quite drawn towards this parish. If anyone would like to take the time to
e-mail me about what it is like to live in the area, I should be very pleased to hear from you.

I stumbled across this wonderful website (having typed Wroughton into the Google search machine)! What a thrill to see and read about all the things I grew up with. (Am now living in Amsterdam, Holland since 1978.) The organ I played, the choir I sang in... I will certainly be back for more! John Kerr (son of Heather and Douglas Kerr, ex of 17 Green's Lane)
UPDATE: John Kerr- the current organist (John Henderson) would love to get in contact - please use the contact page.
