What is Quest?

Quest is a well-tried way of teaching young adults about the Christian faith and encouraging them as they grow to think about God and the place of the church in their lives. It replaces traditional confirmation classes and allows for those who wish to be confirmed to do so during the course.

How long does it last?

At the moment Quest is a two year programme, but can be extended if members wish.

Who is it for?

Quest is for young people who are aged 11 or over, confirmed or not, who want to explore what being a Christian means for them.

What is it like?

Members meet once a week for just 45 minutes to find out by discussion as well as exploration of the Bible, sometimes using videos the what it means to be a Christian today. It's quite informal, but it's only fair to say that it is sometimes hard work as well. But we try to make it fun!

When does it start?

The new Quest year starts in September and meets on Wednesdays from 4.30pm-5.15pm at the Vicarage. Please telephone Michael Johnson, the vicar (812301) if you would like to know more. New members are particularly welcome to join at any time.
