This service includes holy communion - and follows on after the Family Service. We have quite a few songs here so We might not do them all.

 I would like to get the musical instruments out for the children this week.

• Jesus put this song into our heart (source 292) - We didnt do this song as it did not fit with the mood of the week - moved to next week.

The astute among you will have spotted that we have made a modification to the choice of Kid's songs and we have included a very simple song from New wine. - We will go with instruments again this week so If we have any volunteers to hand out - collect in then I would appreciate it ;)

2nd March 2008 (Mothers Day)

The songs are:

• Everlasting God (Spring Harvest Praise 75) - played at the start
• Give thanks for a gratetful heart (source 118)
• Be thou my vision (source 50) - on the plan it shows this but I'm making an executive decision and replacing this with:
• Faithful one (source 89) as this is more apt for Mothering sunday.
• Jesus put this song into our heart (source 292) - once children come back - with instruments.

We have been unable to practice as a whole team this week, but we have already covered the practice for 'Jesus put this song into our hearts' - starting slow then speeting up. Give thanks is one we know, as well as everlasting god.

Why have I removed 'Be thou my vision' I hear you ask? It's because we havent been able to all meet up to practive this week and it is one that is not good to be led by a guitar.

I'm not sure if we are doing a separate childrens song, but we could do 'jesus put this song into our hearts' with instruments - practicing in the bell tower with the children first.
