We focus on the life of the worldwide church through the work of Mission Matters.

The charities and mission organisations we support include:

• Christian Aid
• Church Mission Society
• Children’s Society
• Legge House (our neighbouring youth residential centre)
• Mission to Seafarers
• Tearfund

For the past three years we have supported Rosemary Fletcher and her husband James Rowley who have been working at the Methodist Theological College in Sri Lanka.

For the next three years our congregation has voted to support the work of World Vision, which provides practical support with the message of the Gospel to individuals and communities in various parts of the world. We shall focus on a community in Stepanavan, Armenia where facilities are poor and unemployment high. Our aim is to demonstrate our care through prayer and financial support in order to help raise their standard of living, improve social and educational facilities and address the growing problem of HIV.
